So I may or may not have watched pretty much everything on Netflix & Hulu so here I am making a list of my favorite TV shows. (I didn’t actually watch everything so this is my list of what I have watched and loved.) Personally, I think Hulu is better for TV shows and Netflix has better movies. I will make another post on Hulu shows but here are my tops from Netflix. I did not include shows that only had 1 season. (They are in no particular order) (more…)

When I moved out of my parent’s house, I lost a huge piece of my heart- our family dog. I had a big puppy-shaped hole in my heart that I couldn’t quite fill with anything else. It got to the point where I had screenshotted/saved at least 100 pictures of random dogs. I was looking through craigslist & animal shelter websites just to look at dogs almost everyday. My mind was consumed by thoughts of having my own. I just couldn’t take it anymore, I NEEDED my own puppy. A lot of people told me to wait after I finished…

College was never easy for me, not from day 1. In fact, the first few years were the hardest for me. I had a lot of struggles (just like any college student) but through them, I learned so much more than just textbook material. What college struggles taught me… (more…)

I graduate in less than 8 months and I still have no clue where my life is headed. What in the world am I supposed to do with my life after college? There are many things that should (or could) keep me terrified but right now, I’m very much most afraid for my future. Not going to lie, I don’t want to go straight into a job after graduating, but honestly, I can’t afford to do anything but that. So for now, I’m stressing out from my job search. I am open to anything- any kind of job (in the IT…

This year I finally got to go to a music festival- Firefly in Dover, Delaware. I’ve heard great, amazing things about music festivals but I’ve also heard bad things about them. Now, the negative things I have heard came from negative people. People who aren’t happy with anything & always find something to complain about. So I didn’t listen to those people. You shouldn’t either. If you are planning to go, I hope that you are going for the right reasons. I hope that you picked that particular one because of the lineup and not just because it’s the most popular…

I’ve learned a LOT in college but 2 of the biggest things I’ve learned are organizational skills & time-management skills. I’m gonna share a few ways that I use my planner to stay organized, prioritized, and stress-reduced in college. I’ve used a planner for as long as I can remember so there has been a lot of trial & error. After being in college for 4 years (going on my last, 5th year), I’d say I have really perfected my organization style. This is what has worked best for me in the past year. (I don’t put a lot…

Dear future husband, I’m so ready to meet you. How cliche. But after attending 3 weddings this summer (which is a lot when I attend on average about zero weddings a year,) I want to meet you. This doesn’t mean that I’m ready to marry you, because honestly I’m not. Not until I finish school & figure out where my life is headed. But I’m ready to do life with you & to share all of my moments with you. (more…)

I became very independent after growing up in a foreign family in America. I had to help my parents with most things since they barely knew any English (at the time, they’re doing alright now.) Being so independent, I got used to doing things on my own. Recently, there have been a few moments in my life where I stopped and thought, “Wow, I’m an adult and I will never be that once-16-year-old girl ever again.” Here are some of those moments that made me feel like a real adult: (more…)
